Are you ready?
Every family should have a “Go Bag”, a collection of items you may need in the event you should need to evacuate your home with little to no notice. Ideally, each member of your family should have their own bag. A proper “Go Bag” should contain enough gear / supplies to protect and sustain you under uncertain conditions for no less than 72 hours. I was traveling with my family in the south of France and we stumbled upon a treasure of a restaurant in Gourdon. The name is quite fitting, Le Nid d’ Aigle(eagles nest), since it is perched up high on the edge of a cliff.
Litchfield Vineyards– A Day Off
I went with a couple of friends for some wine tasting last weekend. We had a great time even though it’s December and it was very cold that day. Each vineyard had their fireplace going and some mulled wine ready for patrons coming in from the cold. It was a very inviting scene. We were able to taste a few different wines at each vineyard.
